“From start to finish, Hannah provided exceptional service, thoughtfully respecting the deep emotional attachment we had to the original kilt.”

Our customer got in touch when they inherited their Grandfathers Kilt, after an initial consultation, it was clear the Kilt needed a 10” waist reduction.

A full remake requires all the original stitching to be removed, the kilt pressed flat, then reshaped and sewn to fit the new owner of the kilt. All of this was carried out in time for a Pipe Band trip to Germany. We also sourced new tartan fabric to make a pair of double flashes to match the kilt.

“Hannah carefully transformed a treasured piece of family history into a wearable kilt once again. Taking the time to understand the story of its original owner, she truly appreciated the significance it held and the powerful impact it would have on its new wearer.”
